    Description

Nice, not perfect, lot of six New York Sunday Mirror 20-page magazines (one issue has 16 pages), all from 1942 and 1943, with all covers WW II related. The pieces are in generally good condition, with corner and border wear and coloring being the primary issues. Each magazine is complete and there are no rips that I could find on the covers.  Here’s what’s included:
March 29, 1942 “Alaska: Closer to the Axis Center Than New York”
January 31, 1943 Captain Eddie Rickenbacker
April 18, 1943 Pan American Issue. Slight corner wear.
July 25, 1943 “Heavy U.S. Army Anti-Aircraft Gun...” 16 pages. Upper left corner issue.
September 12, 1943 “The Normandie Will Be ‘Shipshape’...” Page borders slightly frayed.
September 19, 1943 “Terrific Punch in this 16 in. U.S. Coast Defense Gun...” Corner wear.
The covers, front (individually) and back (as a group) have been photographed, along with a few corner issues. If you would like to see more photos, let me know and I will get you all I can.
The items shown are the ones you will receive. U.S. sale and shipping only.
These issues are ideal for any history or World War II buff. They are living history as it was happening, over 75 years ago.
