Vintage Set Of Four Silver Decanter Liquor Labels By Turner & Simpson

Authentic set of four silver decanter labels by Turner & Simpson of England. This vintage set consists of labels for whiskey, gin, brandy and sherry. Each label is stamped with the appropriate libation. These labels feature ornate floral, tendril and repousse grape clusters at the top and bottom. The labels measure one and one-half inch from top to bottom by two inch from side to side. Stamped on the back is "Made in England", the anchor hallmark for Birmingham England, a lion figure representing silver and either the date letter "P" or what looks like a "2" (not sure about that). The makers mark "T & S" is also stamped on the back and refers to the Birmingham silversmith Turner & Simpson. It's hard to see but stamped along one of the oval links of the decanters chain is a lion hallmark. This set of decanters has been lightly cleaned. Show some age appropriate wear but overall nice estate condition. Combine to weigh a total of 62.8 grams. These fun and interesting decanter labels would make a fun start or addition to your collection. Will definitely get noticed and soon become a bar favorite. Guaranteed authentic.
