Description

Delicate sterling silver perfume bottle with a glass flask insert and glass stopper. The sterling "cage" has a spring securely attached to the inside bottom to allow the glass bottle to pop up when the top hinge is slid to the side. This flask looks very delicate but it is STRONG and well made.
- Sterling flask is 2 1/4" tall x 7/16" wide. See picture for close-up of sterling stamp.
- Flask is rhodium plated to prevent tarnishing. Rhodium is one of the platinum metals.
- Includes a soft pouch to protect it as well as a plastic funnel for re-filling.
- Made by Wells, Inc. of Attleboro, Massachusetts, which was in business from 1922 - 1978.
